K9 Camp & Resort: Rules of Play

Temperament screening
We require a temperament screening on all pets that come here to
play. We will not accept any dog that is aggressive in any manner, be
it towards people, food, other dogs or toys. We require a 15 - 30
minute evaluation of your dog's behavior prior to enrollment at K9
Camp and Resort. On your first visit please be prepared to stay with
your pet for this evaluation and bring a copy of your pet's vaccination
history. This is a free evaluation. If necessary, we may require your
dog to spend a full day of day care in order to fully evaluate your
dog's behavior/temperament.

Our environment is different from other Plymouth dog care or
boarding kennel facilities. Therefore, K9 Camp and Resort reserves the
right, at any time, to turn away or send home any dog whose
temperament we determine to be incongruent with our environment.

The temperament screening is done by appointment only, Monday
through Saturday between the hours of 10:00 am - 2:00 p.m.

Spayed or Neutered
Dogs must be spayed or neutered.

Reservations Required
All day care visits need to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.
This is necessary to determine whether or not there is room for
additional doggie visitors.

Take Care of Business
As a courtesy, please have your dog "take care of business" in the
morning before arriving at our facility.

Medication
If there are medications to administer or present injuries/illnesses, we
require your personal vet's approval to accept your dog into our
home. We must know that your vet approves your dog to come to
day care and/or board with us.

Staying Home Sick
If your dog appears to be ill, please do not bring him/her to K9 Camp
and Resort for dog day care or dog boarding. If he/she appears ill
while at our home, we will call you to pick him/her up.

Holiday Reservations
If you are reserving space during any major holiday period a $50
deposit will be required for each dog/space that is held. This deposit
will be applied to your final bill. Cancellations made less than 10 days
prior to scheduled check-in date are non-refundable.

Vaccination Requirements
DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza), current in the last
year; Bordetella, current in the last 6 months;
Rabies, current in the last year for puppies and in the past three years
for adults
