FALL CAMPS
Stowe, Vermont
(Sept. 4-10 & Sept. 11-17, 2011)

Our Stowe Camps take place at the Mountaineer Inn, an upscale
facility set on 8 grassy and shaded acres bordered by a brook. It's a
relaxing setting where our very own Taffy Morgan serves
home-cooked food second to none. These camps offer 25-30
activities daily. For dogs who love to swim, we've arranged for the
use of a nearby pond. There's a fabulous, easy 5-mile walking path,
gondola rides for you and your dog, great shopping, horseback riding
and tourist attractions like Ben & Jerry's in the area. Off-site
accommodations, available in our flyer which we will mail to you upon
request, welcome us and our dogs and provide a chance to get away
from the hubbub of being on site. 105 people.

Benefiting: Animal Rescue League of Boston

We have been hard at work making this year's DogFest even bigger and
better. All proceeds will be going to benefit the Animal Rescue League of
Boston. The ARL has worked tirelessly since 1899 to help animals in need.
Admission is FREE for the entire family, including well-mannered dogs on
leash and current on Rabies vaccinations. However, donations will be
accepted at the gate. This includes monetary donations as well as items
that can be used by the ARL, such as dog or cat food, leashes, collars, cat
litter, dog beds, blankets and toys. In case you missed it, be sure to get the
June 2011 edition of Dog Fancy, which features the Somerville Dog
Festival as one of five dog festivals nationwide to watch for in 2011! We
would like to thank everyone who made DogFest 2010 such a great event,
including the City of Somerville, Marjie Alonso of City Dog Training, all the
corporate sponsors, the Somerville Dog Owners Group, New England Dog
Training Club, all the volunteers and especially all who attended and their
dogs. Below are a sampling of pictures for those who were unable to
attend. We hope to make this an annual event that will be a source of pride
for the community.
