Pet First Aid Class

The Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center of New England
(VESCONE), a 24-hour emergency center, is offering a First Aid class for
pet owners, pet sitters and anyone interested in learning how to care for
an animal in an emergency. These classes are designed to teach you
the basics regarding the most common pet emergencies and how to
recognize if something is wrong with your pet.
The classes are interactive, involving a workshop with you and your pet
so we can teach you how to get a pulse, heart beat, check the gums, and
get a temperature, set up a first aid kit, safe transport and even bandage
application.
Classes are about 1-2 hrs in duration and are a lot of fun. There is a $20
fee associated with the class that is donated to charity

Tour de Pooch & Pals Spin
Saturday, February 7th
Spin on Saturday, February 7th, 9am-12pm and raise money for the
animals of Nevins Farm! Start the New Year off right by getting healthy
and helping animals at the same time! You can spin for an hour, or
select all three hours - as an individual or in teams! Registration is just
$30 to spin for an hour, and you'll be enjoying a great workout with the
area's top fitness instructors!
